The delivery team behind your software rollout.
Inkhorn provides implementation, QA, rollout and verification services to banks, NBFCs and the software companies that serve them. We take a product from signed contract to live users, and keep it running after go-live.
IT support services
Product companies build the software. Lenders buy it. Inkhorn does the work in between: configuring, testing, migrating, training and supporting until the system is genuinely in use.
Implementation
Setting up a loan origination, loan management or accounting platform for a specific lender: products, workflows, charges, approval matrices, integrations and reports.
- Requirement mapping and gap analysis against the product
- Master data and configuration setup
- Legacy data migration and reconciliation
- Integration with bureaus, payment gateways, e-sign and KYC providers
Quality assurance
Independent testing of releases before they reach production, so that defects are found by our testers rather than by branch staff or customers.
- Functional and regression testing of each release
- User acceptance testing support with the client's business team
- Test case libraries for lending, collections and accounting flows
- Defect tracking, triage and closure reporting
Rollouts
Taking a system live across branches, regions and user roles in a planned sequence, with training and on-ground support during the first weeks.
- Phased rollout planning and cutover management
- End-user training, train-the-trainer sessions and user manuals
- Hypercare support after go-live
- Adoption tracking and issue resolution by branch
Ongoing support
A retained team that handles day-to-day tickets, month-end activities and change requests once the system is live.
- L1 and L2 support with agreed response times
- Month-end, quarter-end and audit assistance
- Change request analysis and testing
- Monthly service reports
Verification services
Checks that lenders need before disbursing or onboarding, run by a dedicated team and delivered with an audit trail.
Bank account verification
Confirming that a borrower's bank account exists, is active and belongs to the named person before disbursement or mandate registration.
Document verification
Reviewing KYC, income and address documents submitted with an application for completeness, legibility and consistency.
Tele-verification
Calling applicants and references to confirm application details, with recorded outcomes fed back into the lender's system.
How an engagement runs
Every project follows the same four stages. The scope and team size change; the sequence does not.
Scope
We study the product, the client's operations and the gap between them, and agree a written scope and timeline.
Build and configure
Configuration, data migration and integrations are completed in a test environment and signed off internally.
Test and accept
Our QA team runs full testing, then supports the client through user acceptance until the go-live checklist is clear.
Go live and support
Phased rollout with training and hypercare, moving into steady-state support once adoption is stable.
Who we work with
Software product companies that need a delivery partner to implement and support their platform at client sites, and NBFCs, MFIs and banks that want experienced hands for testing, rollout and verification without expanding their own headcount.
About Inkhorn
A delivery team for financial software, not a staffing pool.
Inkhorn Technology Private Limited works on the operational side of lending software: taking a platform from a signed contract to daily use in a branch. Our teams sit close to the product they support, so testing, configuration and training all draw on the same working knowledge of how the system actually behaves.
We are structured around fixed service lines rather than individual placements. A client engages Inkhorn for QA on a release, a rollout across a set of branches, or an ongoing verification desk, and works with a named team through that engagement rather than a rotating set of contractors.
Questions we're often asked
If yours isn't here, it's easier to just write to us.
Do you work directly with lenders, or only through the software vendor?
Both. Software companies engage us to implement and support their platform at client sites, and lenders engage us directly for testing, rollout or verification work, independent of any single vendor.
Can your team work on-site at our branches?
Yes. Rollout, training and tele-verification work is typically a mix of on-site and remote, planned around the branch schedule agreed at scoping stage.
What does an engagement typically cost?
Pricing depends on scope: a fixed-fee project for a rollout or migration, or a monthly retainer for ongoing QA, support or verification. We quote after the scoping call.
How quickly can a new engagement start?
For an ongoing support or verification desk, typically two to three weeks from signed scope. Rollout and implementation timelines depend on the number of branches and integrations involved.
